    1. Know Your Subject

Knowledge is power, and you cannot teach students effectively without knowledge. Make sure you know about the subject you are going to teach. Do not just start teaching when the time for the lecture arrives. Please read about the issue and learn about it. If you have doubts, ask your colleagues or experts in the field.

    2. Understand the Student

It is essential to understand the student and their ability. If you teach nursing students, you must realize their ability to handle a particular situation. When a student is in the middle of a problem, they need to be helped.

    3. Have a Plan of Action

The best way to teach is to have a plan of action. If you have a plan of action, it is easier for you to teach. Before you start training, you must ensure you have covered all the topics. You can also note the areas you want to cover in your lectures and plan accordingly.

    4. Show, Don’t Tell

Most of the students like to be shown examples rather than being told. Showing the student a model makes it easier for them to understand the concept. You can use visuals or videos to explain concepts to the students.

    Conclusion:

In conclusion, these are the four best principles of teaching and learning for health professional educators. The best thing about these principles is that they are straightforward to follow. These four principles will help you to teach the students effectively and efficiently.
